Let's face it. We are all becoming very thrifty with shopping, clipping those coupons, and looking for those exceptional deals.
Tell us about your finds.

Today...I found Schick Intuition Razors on clearance for $5.67, and I had a fistfull of the $2 off coupons. So, I bought 6 at $3.67 each. Those puppies are usually $11.97, if not more.

Another clearance item I found was the Venus Vibrance bonus pack clearing at $4.97. I had a $4 off coupon. I paid $0.97 .

I found the Schick Extreme for men clearing at $2.97. Razor and 2 cartridges. No coupon, but that's a good deal.

I didn't have to pay the extra tax either.

Today at the value village I found some nice books to read while I recover... also got a good deal on soup I will post in the other thread

I wanted a glass bottle cutter, so I went on my local used articles web page and posted a wanted ad. I just got my glass bottle cutter for free!

Also, I often go on the free section of several local web pages to see who's giving what away for nothing. You never know what you'll find! Great for students or young people just starting out!

My deal of the day was at SDM. I went to buy cough medicine. It was on sale for 11.99 but rang up 12.99 at the check out. The cashier called the manager to do a price over ride and the manager said because it was incorrectly priced at the check out I got it for.........99 cents. Yippee! That was a great deal of they day.

2 Secret deodorant 2 for $5 - used .50 cent coupon
4 Pantene Pro V - paid .55 cents a bottle! - were on sale for $1.99 each - used $5 coupon (if you bought 3- $5 off) and another .75 cent coupon on the other one
2 sponge towel - free
TOTAL BILL $8.40

The best was Canadian Tire....
Small bottles of Pine Sol .25 cents each including tax! - were on sale for $1. Had buy 2 and get $1.50 off coupons. Cashier would not let me go through with 6 bottles on one bill....so I just paid her 3 times....whatever! My friend also had 6 bottles and cashier put her through 3 times. (a couple of days ago I saw the coupons for Pine Sol in front of Pine Sol display at Zellers......grabbed about 20 and threw them in my purse for future use....sure came in handy).

Price Choppers has Skillet Sensations at an unbelievable price of $2.49 this week. I had $1.50 off coupons (thanks bct for those through the exchange)...well you do the math.
Danone Yogurt is also on sale. Print up those coupons for $1 off. Better deal.

I found some O.B. coupons (for 1.00 off) in my bread box (I shove EVERYTHING in there and shoved them in my purse... the grocery store (Maxi) had a display of the 20 pack boxes on sale.... I couldn't find a price, just saw them on "clearance" figured they were cheap (I needed some anyways..well, every month)... and threw a few boxes in with my groceries. My daughter had to use the bathroom, and I gave my husband the coupons, and ran her to washroom--- When I checked the receipts, it turned out that I got every single one of the boxes for free- they were marked down to a dollar and the coupons covered it. Made me so excited, my husband laughed at my pathetic excitement!

At a thrift store I found a pair of Seven jeans for 6 bucks. They're usually about 200 bucks.

I got a coupon for $1.50 by emailing the company and then Zellers had 24 Cashmere on for $5.00, so I got it for $3.50.

Sobeys:

Buy Two Nescafe instant coffee, get $1.50 off Coffee Mate (reg $3.50).

Nescafe Rich was on sale for $3.99 (reg price $5.99). Used a $1 coupon off each (thank you Coupon Trading!) and then a $1 off coupon on the Coffee Mate.

So I got two coffee jars for $2.99 each and a Coffee Mate for a $1.

I'm in heaven. Was just stopping by the Royal Doulton store to look and found some of the animals 2/3 off...Christmas shopping.
Bought myself a pretty little lady for $50.
If anyone knows Doulton...this was a steal.
