Anyone else have trouble using coupons at the Glace Bay Sobeys??
Just came back from there and the cashier scrutinized the $5 Mapleleaf coupon from Websaver and went to two others to verify it. She said that they used to take every coupon and now that has changed. She was very nice and said she was sorry (not her fault) that she had to go check the coupon out.
Anyway I was still a happy camper as I walked out the door with 75 airmiles

The lady at WM did the same to me this morning. She read them over, which is fine, but wouldn't allow me to use two coupons at the same time while buying two items because it said "one coupon per purchase". I was wasting my breath trying to explain it to her. She was an older lady "Nancy", so avoid her if you have coupons. lol She was nice enough..just wouldn't budge. I'm not one to make a scene, so I just left it.

Dude - profile those cashiers or go after 5PM when the younger ones are working.
I only take the old and crusty cashiers when I'm SCOP'ing or need to return something.
Otherwise I look for the young'uns.
I prefer them young, blonde, giggly at dumb jokes, and more than happy to ring through multiple coupons.
Then again, that's probably how I prefer all women.....
I kid, I kid.

I knew getting into the line that I shouldn't have. lol I had her one other time.
I do find that 99% of them there are wonderful...many of the older ones are fantastic.
I pretty much know going into any check out which ones are easy and which aren't. lol
