I know bulk and barn has it, but it's really hard to wash! They're so small and go through almost any strainer.

I heard you can buy pre-washed Quinoa at grocery stores in the rice section, but I haven't seen it anywhere

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Costco has it, as does, Loblaws, Metro and any health food store.

Rather than using a strainer, try getting fine mess produce bag or a jelly bag and using that to wash it. I picked mine up at Organic Garage, but you can get jelly bags at any store (wal-mart/zellers etc) in the Canning section.

Enjoy the quinoa. I love making salads with it.

Love Quinoa - and agree with sue on where to get it(sorry BOO know nothing of Superstore stock!). I use a fine mesh strainer that i picked up from the $ store - does the job perfectly!
I was just about to say that i'd never heard of prewashed but checked the Costco stuff i just bought and lo and behold..its pre-washed ,gluten free and organic!

I eat a lot of Quinoa (both colour varieties), and my preferred vendor is Mountain Path. I buy through a co-op group, but you can also find their products in many health food stores. As a pp suggested, you can buy a fine strainer or use fine produce washing bags.
