Watch out even with the shrink wrapped ones at news stands. I bought one yesterday wrapped so I assumed the calendar & coupons were inside. Instead I got a small cookbook with no coupons. So I paid $3.99 for a magazine with 2 coupons printed on the pages ($.75 Saputo mozza cheese & $1 Del Monte fruit cups)

I bought a shrink wrapped issue in Ontario and it had the coupons inside the Calendar. So many coupons. Yay!

Walmart takes 10% off magazine prices at the cash register.
I would like to subscribe to magazines but had problems with a certain magazine (it was mailed but never got to me during the summer-don't know if a neighbour got it or a postal person) so I'd rather buy a copy when there is splurge money to do so.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Bought my plastic-wrapped copy in a store and was rather disappointed that there weren't any coupons either. My disappointment didn't last long though....I can't wait to try the multitude of recipes in that magazine! Everything looks so yummy . I've never picked up a copy before but will certainly get a subscription now.

I highly recommend getting them through Rogers Magazine svc. If you go through air miles shops or aeroplan's estore, you get miles, and then it's also significantly cheaper to get subscriptions through there. I think I pay around $23/year? (totally made that amount up, but I get A LOT of magazine subscriptions so it's hard to keep track!)
