If they're too small you could make some.. That's what my mom does.. I think she's going to start selling some online soon actually...
Don't you know they're lying when they're telling you it's been all right?

Giant Tiger has HUGE bags for 99 cents. I have four of them. They are not only big but very strong too. My fav bags though are the sort of meshy bags I got from Dollarama. I have four of those and I keep them rolled up in my purse. I always forget to take my bags and it's amazing how much I can pack into those mesh ones. They go right back into my purse when I empty them.

The ones from Sobeys are 99 cents.

The size is excellent and sturdy (you can fit four 2L bottles of pop in one). When they wear out, Sobeys replaces them for FREE.

SDM also offers insulated recycle bags. They are a bit more expensive, but I find the one that I bought to be really useful for grocery shopping: I toss an ice pack in it so ice cream and milk stay cold on the drive home. They are also the perfect size for stuffing drinks and snacks for a long road trips. I found mine in the food aisles of SDM.

Here in Pictou County Nova Scotia we are required to put recycling in blue bags and garbage in clear bags. The Wal Mart here has fantasticlly huge bags ....and they are strong. A good bargain since you don't have to double bag :o)

I thinks Sobeys are good too. They are a good size and only $.99. I have 5 or 6 I think that I take with me when I pick up groceries.

Walmart's are good too, but they have more width then depth, so for certain things it's a little awkward.

i also got free bags from pharmacies for giving back old mediics and from other stores

the new PJC ones are big enough and have two sets of handles (short and long) , so you can carry the bag under your arm

    i find them very usefull
