    My fiance is currently in the ICU and not doing so great. I know I've seen in other threads that a couple of the local SCer's are nurses, and I just want to give a general big (huge) thanks to the job you all do... it really is amazing, and at times like these I hope you know how appreciated you are.

    ITA when FIL was ill. (he's since passed) the nurses were amazing.. so sorry to hear your Fiance is ill. hopefully he's ok.

    alicia, so sorry to hear that, and I hope he recovers quickly.

    One of my sisters is an ICU nurse here in SK, and the work and care she does are absolutely amazing... they are angels!

    Thank you all for the well wishes. He is still in the ICU but we are hoping he can go to a stepdown unit (or even a ward) in the next few days.

    After being there for a few more days I can still not get over the job nurses do... it is astounding what is done in stride, and what great care they are taking of my dear fiance.

    Just wanted to update that we got to bring my fiance home today after two weeks spent in ICU and IMCU. What a great early Christmas gift - nothing like having your loved ones home and no where near a hospital bed.
