all the points that are missing were "traded" from people cards to someone else's card right?

Is it possible to ask SDM to find out if all the "traded" points went to the same card?

Yes I know people who lost points never "traded" points. What I meant is SDM should be able to see all points transfered in the system, so cross referencing all the cards that have points missing they could find 1 or more common transfers on or around the date the points went missing?

I would like to see some good come of this, my trust for them is slowly disappearing. Last week I had my SDM pharmisist short me 15 perks, so if an employee can "accidentally" mis count narcotics, I wouldn't put it past one to accidentally mis place a few thousand points and go everyone should have more answers by now.

Draggy I don't think they were in all cases. At least SDM is not saying that. there is no eveidence of "trading" n my case becasue my info was not changed and I didn't receive an e-mail indicating any points activity which I otherwise always do.

Hmmmm, yes I did that survey about 3wks ago!! Makes me wonder if someone from the survey company could have done this ???

Also when I spoke to CS they kept asking me if anyone had access to my computer (No, I don't even let my BF on my laptop). & also they asked if I had a SDM MC which I do not!!

I'm so sorry for the two that got denied for their points to be returned!! this is just nuts on SDM part!! First their site is not secure as we all have learned & even changing the PC doesn't seem to work!!

I've had maybe 3 transfers to me from my aunt, a friend & 1 Scer (last week) in the last 6 months...so no frequent trading!!

If SDM calls me I'm going to be asking who the hell changed my info, name, addy & city , they atleast owe us some explanation!!!

I'm also thinking of this Scer that Raok'd the points...Is their computer secure/wireless??? Their addy seems to be close to another person that caused trouble on here awhile back???? Where is the connection in all this mess!!

I'm extremely upset by some of the comments (CouponLvr) for assuming that we are scamming SDM...I've been here 2.5yrs & have helped others earn points by using BP/coupons etc to maximize their points the best way possible!! So if your not involved directly please refrain from judging others!! gosh this is just getting too nuts!!

I'm just sooo fed up with all this!!! SDM needs to give us some clear info & not the brush off!! imo

If hollyhill, hcao, Jezzebelle and carly do not have their points returned I think we should organize some kind of fundraiser for them. Since we cannot transfer the points directly to them I would be happy to contribute by sending them something to a secure address, such as a PO Box or 1 of those short term mail outlet places. We could send coupons or maybe start a new OP card with dummy info, buy a $10, $20 or $50 dollar gift card so the account would have 100, 200 or 500 OP points and then send them the physical OP card so they could transfer the points to their accounts. Or maybe send a $5 SDM GC so we would get the points and they could get started collecting the OP points again.

I feel really bad for these people and want to do something to help them. Do you realize that hcao is expecting her 7th child?

If they do not want to have anything to do with SDM after this I would completely understand and I would be happy to send coupons. They should feel OK about posting a PO Box addressed to "recipient" or their SC name. No one deserves to get ripped off for $1000 for making 2 trades in the past 4 months and I think SDM has a terrible attitude about the whole situation. Imagine if you walked into a SDM and tried to steal $100s of dollars of merchandise from them. You would be arrested as fast as they could dial 911.

All night I am in tears for 3 reasons:

1. Appreciating tears: because most people here just like you try to help us. Your thoughts make this world more wonderful. But I am fine, please keep every things for yourself, your post means a lot to me.

2. Mad tears: Feeling too bad about SDM hanled our points lose.

3. Sad tears: for few persons (some only 16 years old from her file) pointing us. We are all human being, we make mistake. But from our mistake, you learned to be smarter. Can you say you never made any mistake? We work very hard supporting our family, friends and donating stuffs to people who needs. If we receive 1000 SDM pts roaking by giving our optimum card#, do you think it is a huge mistake? Do you know the 1000 SDM pts will help us to redeem more things for poor people who are around us? Please stop pointing us, when we are down.
You can point me when I am up or when I am happy, I will smile to you for all of your pointing.

Oh my Ludwig!!!! And thanks hcao for pointing out that post! I missed it entirely.

How very thoughtful Ludwig, but I believe most of us are on here, are on here because we need to be on some level. Students, stay at home moms, disabilities, out of work, finacial issues etc etc. I know I am. And I presume many others are as well. Losing the points are indeed a huge hardship for me, but I will manage.

Besides it isn't over yet! Right?

Is there any harm in contacting the police and asking for advice? I just read this whole thread and I find it SICK that SDM says because someone saw your optimum # that that person is at fault for having their points stolen! Just because someone sees my CC # doesn't give them the right to use it. Someone still pretended to be someone they weren't to take something that isn't theirs! I think SDM is voiding the cards due to trading because they don't want to pay the money back and they don't want negative publicity. People make mistakes, they open themselves up to crimes but they don't deserve to have crimes committed against them. I can't believe that this thief is going to get away with it and that SDM is going to help him/her! Just SICK!
