thank goodness. you need to get some rest. maybe buy or rip a cheap pair of boots or heavy slippers open to let her foot be warm/protected.
keep my fingers crossed for the best results on the tests.
I'm happy to hear it went well and I will continue to keep her in my prayers!
I'm so glad to hear that the surgery went okay. I had a minor foot surgery at age 10, and I wore a pair of my sister's shoes (two sizes too big) for the next few days until the swelling went down. Maybe your DD can borrow an old pair of your boots for when she's outside to make sure her feet are warm enough. As for inside, depending how self-conscious she would be about it, a pair of sandals (not flip-flops) could be comfortable - those tensor bandages get HOT to wear all day (I remember!) and they would probably be less bulky and less likely to make her trip than a big pair of shoes.
Best wishes to you both!

Glad to hear that's over n' done with!!! Wishing your DD a speedy recovery.... and some much needed rest for you both. ((HUGS))
Prayers work wonders...so happy to hear it all went well and that your daughter is on the road to recovery and that you can finally take a deep breath!
Yes holly you sound so beat. Rest alongside DD if possible, cuddle, the poor thing.
I am happy to hear everything went well :) Glad she is home and recovering!!
Makes me think of when I had surgery on my broken pinky finger when I was 10, such a small body part but such a pain LOL
Holly, I'm so happy to hear that everything went good and that your daughter is at home resting. Try to rest yourself!! Will keep you both in prayer.
Thank goodness the surgery is over! You've waited a long time for this! Sending all my good thoughts your way!
Prayers for a speedy recovery.
Gosh I feel so much better. I finally SLEPT!
Oh and glowworm, she has bigger feet than me (and she is taller LOL) so that would work. We may try her brothers... but I think his are too big. Hmm.
We took the bandages off today and the plastic surgeon had drawn an ink heart around her inscision area. It made Emmalene smile (she was dreading taking all the bandages off because she didn't want to see the stitches) LOL. That was the perfect thing for the surgeon to do.
There is still swelling and she is in pain so she is still on pain killers. But she had a bath and feels so much better.
And her blood sugar is finally normal again. YEAH!
Maybe a big oversized pair of fluffy slippers may help her at home? (as long as she doesn't trip being oversized)
glad she is doing well
So happy she is doing better, she is such a sweetie. Hate to think of her hurting.
So glad you finally got a good nights rest! You looked awful in class last week. Take it easy girl or you are going to get sick again! So have nice long bath and get to bed early tonight. See you Monday.
