I wanted to post this in a different place from the other Christmas songs so it doesn't get lost in postings....
'Wherever You Are' is a moving love song written by Royal Wedding composer Paul Mealor for the choir to sing at The Royal British Legion's Festival of Remembrance. The music is set to a poem compiled from letters to and from the servicemen and their wives on a 6-month tour of duty in Afghanistan.
BBC2’s programme The Choir: Military Wives - project of choirmaster Gareth Malone - who took a group of shy army wives, whose husbands were serving in Afghanistan, and transformed them into a choir.
Sales from the track will raise money for The Royal British Legion and the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association.
Brought me to tears, it's just lovely!

Isn't that amazing, Darth? People were speculating it would do well, at least overtaking the song of the X-factor winner.
