Converting my husband....one VERY small step at a time!

My husband will never convert to using coupons but everytime one of his buddies comes over he takes them down to the basement to see the stockpile.

He'll brag about what I get with coupons but he'll never go to the store and use one.

Too funny - My hubbie always teases me about coupons saying if the house is burning down he'll grab the kids so I can grab my binder. He brings me inserts home from work all the time.

we ride harleys as well ... I use more coupons then DH but he will use it if I give it to him...you should see the looks I get sometimes when I am wearing my leather harley jacket and paying with coupons....i tell them that is how I bought my harley...

Oh no.. I am fitting in that department.. While ago when the boys would drop in.. we would talk politics.. sports, cars, tools.. and now we talk about coupon's.. store sales.. etc.. What is happening to us..

Sounds like my house, lol,,,,my boys are now into it too...

my parents just shake their heads and say...Wish we had that knowledge to have passed onto you kids...They can't believe their generations missed it.

We will convert them all. My husband gets it now, when he sees the things I get for free, now we go shopping he says " do you have any coupons for that"?? Merry Christmas everyone.

when I started about 6 months my DH laughed at me for spending so much time aquirring my coupons and building my stock pile..but after seeing me bring free product home and only pay pennies for things he tells everyone about my savings and shows off our stock pile and now when we are shopping if its not on sale or we dont have a coupon he says we dont really need it right now, do we?

I was always a sucker for a sale, but now with coupons there no holding me back!

oh that's too funny...mine is converted fully now...he even tell's his buddies that he hasn't talked to in awhile how much we are saving and HOW TO DO IT...and he shows off the stockpile! at first he thought i was nuts, but now he's on board! i do most of the shopping and research, but he will coupon hunt and go to sales with coupons that i'm not able to get to. it won't be long before your tall, tattooed, peirced man is standing in line at the check out with coupons in his hand wonder if the cashiers would give him attitude? lol bet they wouldn't dare

Hahahah, my husband would never use a coupon. But he does appreciate the effort that I put into it, and he thinks it's funny that I get so excited about free razor blades.

I'm thinking that there something to big guys being easier to coupon convert. My DH who is over 6' had to go to his dr's office yesterday, on our way home we needed to make a stop and before he gets out again he hands me a bunch of $1.00 off nestea 12pks for my binder.
