I am going to Bellingham, Washington for a shopping trip and would like to get travel insurance but was wondering what is the best place to get it? I don't have BCAA but I have checked out the travel insurance there but wanted to see if there are any others that you have used. I did a google search but there are way to many.
Also is there any websites that I should visit to get deals? I have gone to the seattle premium outlets site and printed out coupons and the VIP coupon book.
Thanks

I think you can get travel insurance through BCAA without being a member......you can also get it through your bank.

Yes, BCAA is available for those who do not have memberships, as well as any bank or credit union in BC too..

I have used CAA travel insurance and have actually had to use too! It cost $15 for the four of us for 8days --now this was 9yrs ago! And my son's hospital bill was $15,000!!!! And they paid it all--I never paid a cent

You can go to any travel agency and they can issue travel insurance for you.
Usually they offer RBC Travel Insurance - I use that all the time. Min is 4 days.
The best deal is the annual policy if you are frequently travelling to USWanna get prizes and gift cards just for surfing the web?http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/Tuktu60

I am in the states several times a year since that is where my family and I are from. We have always just used the insurance provided by our bank. We bank with TD and they offer travellers insurance and it is not very expensive.

I get it from the Cooperators website. Just tell them how long you'll be gone and they charge you accordingly. I only paid like $16 for 2 weeks, I think.
It's the same kind of insurance that Manulife gives...up to $1million I think. But doesn't have the $50 price tag that Manulife doesLast edited by torontogal12; Sun, Jan 6th, 2013 at 01:49 PM.
Apply every possible promo code to your cart, at every store that you visit (and get points for cash back on top of that?). It's sweet and easy with HONEY.
Always use Ebates and get cash back at over 600 online stores! Use this link to get $5, FREE

Another thing to look into is if you have medical benefits these may cover you. Our plan at my work covers us well travelling in select areas, US being one of them.
