"Headache and weight gain." lol I hope you feel much better soon.
My family and I went in on an iPad 2 for DD. It's also her birthday present from us. She was so happy.
I got some nice cutlery (very much needed), wine and a wine cooler, and a nice selection of teas. My boyfriend made a nice sign with my last name on it for my house. I had mentioned I'd wanted one a long while ago.
I bought myself a Blackberry Playbook when they went on sale before Christmas and love it.
I also feel extremely gratified that the only thing I bought as a present that is cheaper now during Boxing Day sales is the iPad and it's only $20 cheaper. I think I shopped well this year.
I'm trying to curb the spending now, since I need to add to my RRSP before the end of February. Anyone else feeling a little burned out from shopping?

New pj's, gift cards, but the best present of all was from my son. When we went to pick up my grandson to bring him home for the holidays, I was telling my son that this year I want to take some money each month and use my coupons and see how much I can get to give to local food bank each month. I had told him I thought I could spare $20 per month and it would be exciting to see how much I could get each month to donate. Well Christmas day he gave me a card with a crisp $20.00 and said Merry Christmas, here is your first box of food for the food bank. It moved me so much to know he listened to my rambling and cared enough to start the challenge.

My whole stocking consisted of stuff I need to use for couponing lol, and all my presents under the tree were kitchen related, since I want to redo the kitchen in red so it was amazing

Hubby and I didn't exchange presents (we adopted a cat instead
), and my side of the family is going on a cruise in February together, so no presents. His side of the family spoiled us (in my opinion!!) Some of the things I got were:
Ipod shuffle
Silver earrings
Itunes card
Beauty and the Beast DVD (My FAVOURITE movie ever and I didn't own it!)
A pretty mirrored box
A couple purses and wallet
And more great things!
