Hey everyone just got a Kobo from my wonderful husband and I am wondering if anyone can recommend any good cheap books?

Check out your local library. A lot of libraries now let you borrow ebooks, and they have quite a few newer release books too! Also the kobo site has free books, but they are mostly classics and older books.

http://search.overdrive.com/ is the site that many libraries use.

Ditto on the library angle....that's all my hubby ever reads....free ebooks through our local library...they're as up-to-date as any site out there and he can usually get any book he's looking for.

You can check books at half price book shop. The best shop with good book at affordable prices.

check your email too.. kobo sends out lots of deals, % off certain titles, almost weekly.. also, if you activated your kobo just recently (which it sounds like you did) then you should be a part of their book club.. once a month kobo will send you an email with three books, you can chose one of those books for free, just use the coupon code that came with the email when you're checking out in the kobo store i love my kobo

We just recently bought a KOBO and I've just finished reading "Wicked" - haven't seen the play - but the book was very interesting.
