Would you send your child to private school?
Does it depend on the type of school you went to, does that affect your choice?

If I have children in the future I'd like to send them to private school. I've been to one all my life and I didn't feel any of the criticism that they sometimes get... I'm sure it depends on the school though.

Private school is the type that you pay for.

    Thanks!
Before I moved to Canada, where I lived everyone had to pay for school and it still counted as 'public'. The govt. only paid for a portion of the cost of school, but the parents still paid huge costs.

The public education system was part of the appeal of Canada... I am definitely going to take advantage of it. The only reason why I'd send baby J to private school is if he ends up having learning problems and needs specific special attention. However, I'd exhaust the resources of the public school system before I'd go that route.

If I could afford it then I'd go the private school way.

Ya as said, by private I mean the ones you pay for, so they're not administered by the government, I suppose...

I'm not very familiar with Catholic schools, so I don't know if they're considered private or not :-k
