Oh I hope they all switch to Victorias Secret!!!!

they're not switching, the la senza IN the oshawa center is staying and they're opening a Victorias Secret as well. it seems as though the stores IN malls are staying open.

My mom was just at the La Senza in North Oshawa where she was given a coupon stating "come back and visit us at the following locations!" (based in the GTA)

oshawa center
scarborough town center
sherway gardens
square 1
eaton center
upper canada mall
white oakes mall
erin mills town center
lime ridge mall
mapleview sc
masonville place
stone road mall
bramalea city center
cambridge center
devonshire mall
fairview mall
fariview park
oakville place
penn center
young & eglinton center
pickering town center
georgian mall

any other stand alone stores - ie. here in Oshawa the northend one at harmony/taunton, and the south one at the walmart plaza on Stevenson - are CLOSING this weekend. i'm going to pop in the one in south oshawa after work to see if they have any sort of deal

Oh! and a VS is going to be opening in the Oshawa Center!

Just saw the global news story. They will be closing some stores after their financial reports in February. They probably will be expanding Victoria Secrets. They also were showing the workers that were having the sit-in.
I hope the one close to me will stay open. I like shopping there

i wouldn't be surprised if they close some stores and re-open them as victoria secrets since they are all owned by the same parent company (i mean do they really need to have a LaSenza in 4 malls in one city? when they could have 1 victoria secret in a mall and a LaSenza in a different mall)

That's what my store is thinking!

We have been thinking that in the busiest malls they are going to be turning the LaSenza's into a VS and open a La Senza Express somewhere else in the mall.

at one point my mall had:
la senza
la senza express
la senza girl and
la senza spirit ( yoga wear)

all at one time. I'm not kidding it's stupid. We just have regular and express right now, I imagine they will close the express one.

I just called my friend in chatham and she said her store is staying open.

And to the poster who said la senza is owned by victorias secret, correct, it's limited brands, who also owns bath and body works.

There are many more la senzas in this city so I imagine a bunch will be closing, its sad, but do they really need so many locations?

I have noticed the quality of La Senza has gone down hill. I haven't been in for over a year. I hope VS will open up a few locations in BC soon. Currently the only VS location in BC is at the airport.

I loved my La Senza ITEC Wireless bra. It was by far the best bra I have ever owned in my life. Then they bumped the price of it to almost $50. That's when they lost me. Then they discontinued it. Hmm...well, if you knock the price to absurd amount then wonder why people aren't buying it anymore...

A lot of malls that have La Senza seem to have La Senza express too so I wonder what the plan is for all the stores.
