The La Senza at my local mall just did a huge renovation this past spring/summer. So I can't see them closing, thank goodness cause that is the only place I will buy bras etc.

I could not find any press releases on La Senza's site but I clicked on Investor Relations and then the Jan. 5 release. Still no mention of Cdn. store closings but look at 2011 numbers anyways:

haha, i've always hated victoria's secret too. i always found their bras to be crappy, even 20 years ago. i would be in the states a couple of times a week, much time spent at the malls. makes so much sense now.

I was thinking the same. I walked in a few times during the holiday season at the Scar. Town Centre and even on boxing day and the store was EMPTY!!! Since they did their last renovation, it seems like there is no more selection of pj's, robes, loungewear, etc. The bras were all wildly printed and i mean i'm young but once in awhile i'd like a nice solid colour bra. The stores just seems like it got bigger but the selection shrunk.

And now with Victoria's Secret right across from them, i figured they would be done in less then 6 months. Luckily, i stocked up on about 8 new bras (still sitting in a bag in my closet with tags) from their big sale last summer.
Everytime i've been in VS, its rammed at any hour of the day. But that just might be all hype for now!

I love VS ... La Senza not so much i find their quality iffy at best. depends on the item though and amount of usage i guess lol

any other stand alone stores - ie. here in Oshawa the northend one at harmony/taunton, and the south one at the walmart plaza on Stevenson - are CLOSING this weekend. i'm going to pop in the one in south oshawa after work to see if they have any sort of deal
