Anyone heard of any promos recently that give any extras for opening an account? Our son has an ING but needs a physical bank for his part time job he is receiving cheques from. He is 12.

RBC has the Leo's young savers account. They give the child $5 to start and there are no fees, but there might be restrictions on how many transactions per month. I'm not sure what is included since my children only use theirs as a savings account.
I think it's only good until they turn 18, and then it changes over to a student one. I'm sure all the major banks have some form of children's account, they need to foster that next generation of customers!
