So this was the absolute best 20x day for me. Thanks to SC members I learned how to use FPC coupons to the best advantage on a 20x day.

    Shop #1:

28 Crest Pro- Health $3.99 each - 28 coupons for max. $3.89 each

4 2l milk $3.07 each ( I know crazy prices but that is what we pay here on sale)

    1 Europes Best Fruit $3.99

    2 Paper Towel $1.99 each

    3 Secret Flawless $3.99 each - $9 P & G coupon

    Total OOP = 44.62
    Total SDM Points = 29480

    Shop #2

    20 Crest Pro Health toothpaste @$3.49 each - 20 coupons @ $3.49 each

    1 TP $3.99

    4 Pepsi .88 each

    1 WW fluid $1.49

    6 Stayfree @ $5.49 each - 6 coupons @ $5.49 each

    Total OOP = $23.93
    Total SDM Points = 22200

All toothpaste, deoderant, and Stayfree are going to the women's shelter.

Great shop! You will find that we are in the minority on FPC use at SDM. They aren't suppose to be counted towards your 20X but because I have never seen them use a code other than 2001 for FPCs, we do get them.

Glad this worked out for you, I knew it would. Granted, you did need to pay the taxes on the whole $111 worth of toothpaste ($14 in tax) since the coupons were entered as "2001" BUT you earned $44 worth of SDM points, so technically you are still ahead by $30 In my opinion, this is much better than using your FPC at RCSS on a no tax day.

Apparently in NB regardless of what the coupon says tax has to be charged. This according to the NB tax laws. The Supervisor at one of the SDM's told me this yesterday. In some of the stores they have used a 2002 code so I spoke with the Supervisor who informed me of the above.

Wow! That is amazing! I am coordinating a project for Christmas gift baskets for a local first stage women's transition house. Couponed items will help me fill out the baskets nicely!

They entered the FPC as a 2001 code because the max price on the coupon ($3.89) is less than the sale price of the product ($3.99).

This is correct in my opinion because if they entered it as 2002 then they would be out $3.99 and the taxes while the manu would only reimburse them $3.89.

That is awesome...in a weird way . I was always waiting for them to stop giving me the bonus points on my fpc's. I have been using mine there exclusively for the last six months on 20X days. I'm SOOO glad to know that that won't change. Thanks for telling me this!

In a strange twist, I dropped down to my local SDM (2km from my house) to cash in my fpc's too. I had been waiting ALL day. I had $125+ of FPC's in my hand when I got to the cashier. As she was entering all my coupons, she mentioned she had entered 22 fpc's for toothpaste today...and they were headed for a local shelter :D

Same SDM + same cashier = Small World!
