5000 Points When You Buy 2 or More Gift Cards 150.00 or More!

I just got the promotional points, but does not look right though.
I bought 4*$150=$600, so I was expecting 4*5000pts=20,000 pts.
However, I only got 14,000 points. Anybody has the same issue? I will call Shoppers once I dig out my receipts.

I just checked mine and I spent $150 on gc and got 3500 bonus points. But I got 1500 regular points when I shopped initially. I'm thinking the 5000 included the regular point since you don't normally get regular points on gift cards.... anyone else see the same thing?

melephant, you are probably correct on the points issue...I am in the same situation as hjh108---got the 14,000 instead of the 20,000 expected, but thinking that's all we're gonna get, which is still OK...

Hmm interesting...I got some promotional points as of today too, but not what I expected. I bought 2x$150 worth of GCs, and was expecting 2x5000 points = 10000pts. And I only got 7000 pts.

So yes, hjh108, I am having the same issue as you! It seems like they're only giving 3500 pts per $150 instead! I call shenanigans on SDM! Looks like we're all in the same boat.

3500 points + 1500 points on spot is still a quite good deal. However, in the ad, it does say we are getting "5000 bonus points".....so I guess we are not getting regular points on GC sales if the promotion is not on.

We are getting regular points for SDM cards. So the promo is a little misleading for SDM cards.

However, for all other cards it's ok since we are not supposed to be getting any points for them.

I'm sure SDM thinks I'm crazy, since I've had to call them a couple times this week. At the end of the day, I sort of wanted to - but then realized *any* extra points are better than no points on non-SDM gift cards. Since I had to buy some for xmas gifts, I'll gladly take whatever bonus I can get for my own pocket

I got 45,500 pts added which is 3500 per purchase. It might be a little misleading but I won't complain, better than nothing.

same here...got 3,500 pts in my account. on the phone with SDM CS now for something else but pretty much 3,500 is the "difference" so that's all we'll get. no complaints hear either...i bought SDM gc, which the my norm so scoring the bonus points is a sweet gift!

Called this aft, and they are adding the additional 1,500 bonus points for the SDM gift cards (for everyone, I think). She said to look for them by the end of tomorrow.

I just checked my account, and I got 10,000 BP (for purchasing $300 SDM GC's).

I purchased $300 in SDM GCs. Got the initial 3000 reg pts and 7000 BPs. I just checked again, and I'm up to 9000 BP (not 10000)
I wasn't expecting 2000 pts for anything else. Anyway, just to add another angle to the mess...not too worried about it though!
