I was surprised to see this thread!! The answer is I am still smoke free but I am also 20 lbs heavier. I’ve been struggling with this extra weight and can’t seem to lose it
On the bright side not smoking isn’t hard at all! I even go outside with the smokers at break and nothing. From what I lived it was a good three months of being uncomfortable and then it was like I never smoked in the first place. One thing for sure though if ever I start smoking again, I will smoke until the end of my days… in other words I’m never want to do those three months of torture ever again!
I would love an update on the other SCers who tried quitting around the same time

No matter how long ago you started to smoke, as an adult you get that urge to smoke again when you are most stressed, even if you have been smoke free for months...! To fight that urge is one thing but for how long are you able to fight it? Quitting smoking can be easy. Recently, I helped a friend through his journey of a non-smoker and let me tell you, when he gets that urge, not only for smoking but for wanting to eat everything in his site, he calls me and tells me about it. Of course that helps him but it's not enough. I help him through, with a technique that I tought him that gets him in a state where urges go away completely!! If you want to find out more, write me back : )
