What nail polish are you wearing today?

My favorite color is red and white so today i am wearing red nail polish on my beautiful nails.

Vee - I'm trying the hardener...so far so good. So it works ok as a base coat too? Do you use it as a top coat as well? Or is that overdoing it?

Sorry I just saw this - no not as a top coat. I tried once and my nails never dried lol
I use Cult Nails - Wicked Fast top coat and its amazing! Dries in like 30 seconds so I can actually use my hands, keeps the polish on for a long time without chipping...I can usually get away with 7-10 days depending how much I was the dishes. I got it on nailpolishcanada .com

I redeemed some SDM points for the Sally Hansen gel kit and I love it. I got the kit with Shell We Dance, which is a light sheer pink, and i picked up black as well. I'm only on day 2 and my nails are still perfect. No regular manicure would have survived what i put it through today, no matter the top coat lol, so I'm really impressed. We'll see how long it lasts.

Love shell we dance! Let me know howbit comes off and how it is on yor nails over time. I've been back and forth soooo much on this. Pix and I see a negative being all of the polish we own going unused (first wirld problems), but my manis are currently lasting about one day (two if I'm lucky and not picky about lifting). I am just always in water with the baby -- hand washing, bath time, laundry etc. Dishes don't even factor into it

I grabbed a bottle of loreal the magic top coats in the matte velvet this weekend at SDM redemption, sale price of 3.99. I just put 2 coats on over essie mink muffs, and it is awesome! Went on really smooth, and dries so fast. I can't wait to try this top coat on other shades. This is such an easy way to change up the mani without having to spend $ on a bunch of new colors. Love it!

Well. i've being wearing it since Sunday, and it is still in PERFECT condition. I honestly doubted it would last like this! I am extremely impressed already, but i will let you know how it is holding up. I know what you mean about the problem of the polish you own going unused, but i figure i'll still use that on my toes and from time to time.

The important thing with the gel polish is that you really follow the directions, and that you paint your nails precisely with it. Make sure you stay off your skin, or the polish will peel where it extends past the nail.

Funny you ahould mention it! I just put this on this morning....then of course swapped it out for "Pinking of You" with Sally Hansen "disco ball" over top for my stoner rock concert tonight. I was waaay too sober for the show lol. I first grabbed Chinchilly to go wirh my bridesmaid dress at my bff's wedding 2 years ago. Matched our dresses perfectly! I get compliments on it too....such a great classic!

There is a cheapo grey in sally hansen xtreme that looks amazing with Matte about You over it

i am wearing a sheer baby pink that has a bit of a holo effect. - revlon, forget the name

layered over that is a clear with holo flakes - color club, snowflakes

on top of it all, essie fast dry topcoat, love the stuff!

i needed something i could do quick, and if i make a mistake it won't show as much.
