I would say this is a pretty good deal. I'm fairly new at coupons too and I only use Purex. The cheapest I have seen it is $3 for that size BUT I never had coupons to go with it. So I always figured my bottom stocking up price would be $3 but you've just gotten it cheaper! So way to go! Its hard for me to decide whether I want to pick some up at the price you just mentioned or if I should hold out on the coupons for a cheaper price which may or may not happen before they expire.

Buy it if you need it PurpleBunny - but don't worry about coupons expiring before a great sale comes up - I promise theres always a new great coupon and always a new great sale. Once you've stocked up on essential items you can be pickier with coupons and sales. You may be horrified, but last December I had 3 $3 Purex coupons left to purchase the $2.99 laundry detergent. I believe it went as low as $3.88 in December - that wasnt good enough for me, so I did not purchase - I gambled on the hope the price would drop down to $2.99 again. It didn't. I gambled & lost. BUT I could afford the gamble because I had plenty of Purex Laundry Detergent already.... so I threw the 3 Purex coupons away on December31 2011..... Shocking but true!

if you want to stock up I think you should wait for $3.00 or under($2.99) sale. sdm usually has them on sale for $2.99.

Pharmaplus has them on for $2.97 (at least the one I went to in downtown Toronto). I don't think it is in the flyer. I got 4 and used the buy 2 save $2.50 coupon from the weekends smartsource. It came to $6.99 + $1.54 tax = $8.42
