Body Shop half rant/half brag

Yesterday I was sent out a promo code that if I renewed my Love Your Body membership in the next 30 days, I'd get to keep my points and save 10.00 off a purchase of 25.00 or more when I renewed. This morning I checked my email and got one with a promo code for free shipping on any order(no minimum) and 40% off site wide. So I tried to place an order, both promo codes worked but once I put in my payment info I got order can't be processed message, I tried again same thing. So I tried placing an order on a different browser, the free shipping code wouldn't work....I called them, was told they would never give out a free shipping code and there was nothing they could do. So I was going to place an order of 50.00 to get free shipping, when I noticed both orders from this morning seemed to have gone through. So I called to cancel one of them and found out if you place an order from an Apple device they show up as processing but won't ever go through, so I'd have to call to place my order.
Anyway to make a long story short, I called to place my order and got:
1x Vitamin E night cream-12.00
1x Vitamin E day cream with SPF-11.40
1x vitamin E face wash-7.80
Love your body renewal-10.00
-2.86 for LYB discount
-10.00 for renewing
and free shipping
Total-33.32
PLUS I was at 7 points before I renewed, and got another point with this purchase, so I can get 25.00 off my next purchase, and my birthday is next month so that's another 10.00 off, so my next round of skin care will be free(or close to it)!

Good deals on the vitamin e line! I went a little crazy during their holiday sales last year so Ive personally banned myself from their store. Needless to say, I was excited to see your brag.

FYI, not sure if you're aware, once you hit 8 points, you get a free renewal.

I know but my card had expired the week before, so I had to renew it to keep my points and earn the extra. I will be more on the ball next time and pay attention to my cards' expiry date lol.

I love the body shop, but I truly believe their membership should be free! Every time it go there I always forget my card, and end up paying for it and never really using it
