The term originated in the frontier days to designate where settlers had come "from." Back East was the settled area of the country. Anything west was the frontier.
Traveling west means that you are going somewhere new, somewhere fresh, it means that you are taking a chance, staking it all on a pot shot, looking for adventure. The west is for living wild dreams, the east is for doing what you have to do.
... this was interesting to research!

Oh gosh yes. I completely forgot to post it. I saw Patty on Thursday and told her so it slipped my mind after that. LOL I was wondering what the heck I'd ordered that was coming in a FedEx envy hahaha.
I went through it yesterday and I'll mail it out again on Monday. That was a BIG train envy! I can usually squeeze/squish/compress everything into a normal envy but this one I might have to use a yellow envy. Craziness! That or I'll mail it in 2 envies. I know I'm not paying $9 to mail it lol.

I just recycled the same envy and paid under $3 to post.

I guess that back would be where they came from and out would be where the went to explore. Funny how things came to be.
