Hello Everyone!
I was wondering what your bottom line was for TP?
What is the price per single roll that you's pay?
Thank you

I'm sure most on here are better with their TP average, but I generally buy the Royale 12 double roll (so 24 single) between $3.99-$4.99 before coupon ($2.99-$3.99 after). I have also found the Majesta on occasion in places like Uniprix on crazy sale (can't remember the price, but less overall than the Royale) or at Mourelatos 4-roll @1.49 ($0.49 after coupon).
I stick to these brands generally because I really hate Charmin, and find that the store brands, barring a great great sale, will be more expensive than the Royale and Majesta with coupon.
So per roll, my average is between: $0.123-$0.166

Royale 12/24 must be $4 or less after coupon and it has to be the one with 33 metres sq. in it.
Charmin is the worst value for your money. Cottonelle are not bad the regular 12 pack has more metres in it and the utlra or aloe is usually a lot less metres.

About a year ago I was out of toilet paper and it wasn't on sale anywhere. Out of desperation, I picked up a mega-pack of Kirkland brand toilet paper from Costco. It cost over $17 for 36 rolls. It lasts forever, took over 4 months to use up the pack, which is amazing at our house. And it's good quality toilet paper. I haven't gone back to other toilet paper since then.
So I guess I pay about $0.50 per mega roll of toilet paper.

What do you guys think about the cashmere?
It's on sale for 5.97$ for 18 double rolls. I have a 2$ coupon.
So it would come 3.97+tax for 36 single rolls.
It would be 0.11$ per roll before taxSign up for Wagjag http://www.wagjag.com/?wid=5a4389242...f033fc34fb0702

.11 for a single roll is good if you are in need of it but always check the meters on the package because it varies a lot

I have been sticking to Royale double rolls. I get them for $3-4 after coupons.
Tried Charmin, Cottonelle, Majesta, and still like Royale the best.
My dad's formula is to not pay more than $.75 per 4 single (not the double rolls or mega rolls). So I usually go by that.

The golden rules is to calculate the price per $. And the better to compare apple with apple is the compares the number of sheets divided by the price.
Over 1000 sheets per $ it's a stock-up price.
Under 750, I don't buy.
Per rolls, it's not accurate!

Do you people find Charmin clogs up your toilet? That's why I don't buy Charmin.

Why calculate the price of a single roll if in the end you use an actual double roll? Unless, of course, you go like that guy from Extreme Cheapskates that separated the double into single! For me two key aspects to take into account:
1. Length (number of meters)
2. Quality.
A visual aid I use is look at the diameter of the carton roll and the roll itself. The bigger the diameter of the carton roll, the less paper you get.

I'm curious... why does everyone dislike Charmin' ? I've never had any "issues" with it
Friends don't let friends trade at max value

It's just a by-product of when we grew up. There were no double rolls when I was growing up and I'm only 26. Imagine for those older than me? That could be why a lot of people like to use single roll comparisons even though they use double rolls.
It's just familiar. I could retrain myself, but I'm lazy

I totally agree with Georgia. Royale is one of my top favorites. And couponmummy, yes, Charmin DOES clog the toilet! Tbites, I also don't like it because it (sorry if this is TMI LOL) has too much fluff and is very thick. I'm not saying I like paper thin either Ugh, this is getting interesting... Anyway, Royale I find to be good quality, but I stick to the 2-ply because the Ultra 3-ply I also find clogs the toilet so... Majesta is similar to Royale I find, so a good back up.
