Morning all, and the usual round of thanks to all word/code contributors

....oh yeah.....the other day before the freezing hit, I put all my car windows down just a smidge, to test my theory that it's easier to break the icy seal when you put the window up, rather than try and break it by putting the windows down.....
... it worked!!!....well, 3 out of 4 anyway, so maybe the the 4th wasn't down quite enough?....I have power windows, BTW, but I am happy about this result....I must try and remember to do that in future when freezing rain/sleet is forecast....it drives me NUTS when I can't get my window down.....
....there....that's your "helpful hint" #1 for the day, since I never seem to be fast enough to get the Q words onto the site first!!........TR

That's a great idea that I've had to pratice the last couple of winters since I have owned a non GM built vehicle. Same goes for your wipers. Leave them in the up position or if you can stand them out from your windshield. I have always owned a GM vehicle and never had a problem with icing wipers or windows (and mirrors) until my latest a Pontiac Vibe which was built by Toyota.

That was just stocking stuffers.. The kids have big stockings. Gotta still get my son his Alien laptop. I have no idea what it does but it must be magic for the price of it!!!
