You're telling me Ontest! Apparently, as of Jan 1, 2012, car seats now have to be manufactured to accommodate babies up to 30 kg (up from 22 kg). Since mine was manufactured in 2010, it technically does not comply so Kijiji does not want to be held liable.

    wait,

1st car seat need to accomodate up to 30lbs now?
And the booster? what is the lower limit?

In Canada (hum when I had my 1st DD 10 years ago) booster was for kids 40lbs+ and more (hum by law)... but majority of car seat was produce in US where booster was for kids 30lbs+... So the strap of car seat in winter were always to short! I was never able to switch my kids in booster at 40lbs+, they were scrunched in the 1st car seat the minute they were 30lbs!!!

Went to Trévi this morning and bought a pool matress.

I knew it would scan for 1$ higher that the price advertised on the giant sign because there was 2 different piles of the identical product with different prices...

When I pointed the error on the bill to the young cashier and asked for SCOP, she looked at me like I was mad.

The manager was really nice and told her to give me my 10$ SCOP. She then looked at him like if HE was mad. XD

Apparently, kids are being born "bigger". So, the new car seats need to accommodate this.

I don't want to throw away a perfectly good seat. So if you need one or anyone you know may need one, please tell them to pm me.

My BF is almost 6'3", I'm barely 5'. If ever we have kids, I wonder if they'll be midgets or monsters.

Btw, there is a Giant Tiger now open in Ile Perrot and a Metro open right across from the Maxi in Pincourt. I can go scope Metro for coupons and shop and save at Maxi!

Have you tried posting on Craigslist?

Tonight aT Maxi something interesting happened. First the Loeal Mousse scanned at the wrong price so scop. The sticker said $7.34 -50% and it rang in at $8.99 so it was going to be almost free anyways with the $4 coupons, I got one free and 2 @ $3.67 + tax - $4 coupon. Then when I checked my bill he forgot to give me the 50% on the box of 120 Downy sheets.o I went to CS and she says put it on your debit card and she gives me scop on it. I never got scop before for having them forget to do pink sticker? Anyone else have this happen? Could it be a new policy? This was a veteran cashier who did this so she knew what she was doing.

So apparently there will be Hydro work in my area on Wednesday and they will be shutting off Hydro from 8am-3pm... J assures me everything in the fridge and freezers should be fine as long as I don't open them. I'm still worried I should be picking up some ice bags ?
