Bzzagent 411 update

Just got an e-mail from Bzzagent and for all of us who wondered what the fuss with 411 was all about .. Looks like we might finally get something out of it.This is what the email said...


Some of you have been on the site before, some of you haven’t!

For those who are a part of the 411.ca campaign, you came. You saw. You reviewed. And maybe even added a business, or two. All to help fellow Canadians find the best of the best in their neighbourhoods.

Now it’s time to do something for yourself. Stay tuned for something big coming up the final week of March, right on 411.ca. And we mean BIG (think MacBook Air, new iPads and $100 cash big). But you didn’t hear that from us.

I have been a member of this campaign for some time now....There are a few different perks that you can get if you are associated with a bzzagent campaign. 1) you can recieve free product samples which happens from time to time. I have actually received the Burt's Bees kit which was fantastic! 2) you earn points with their affiliate website called mypoints based on the work that you do. These points can be converted into gift cards for different places like Walmart, bath and body works and more....I personally have enjoyed my experience with bzzagent....I think that it is about being patient in regards to this as there are not that many campaigns

What was a lot of work?
I just signed up and received the Burt's Bees products.
However, I'd like to hear more about others experience (even negative ones).

for the 411 campaign you had to rate business so it could be entered into 411.ca ....a Keurig machine was offered but it wasn't that everyone would get one but some of us did over 300++ 411 ratings and recieved NOTHING!!

Now I get it. Yup, that would be REALLY frustrating!

Not surprised! Rather than 'thank' us for using their site and building it for nothing with the last bzzagent campaign, they are still looking for more! Once again, small odds of actually winning anything....

this should be in contest section now. its funny how all these top companies use us for advertising yet, dont throw anything out in return. Free advertising for them lol I guess the richer do get richer..

Yup because they offered everyone a keurig right??, I know people that did get in on the keurig though. I took part in the 411 campaign realizing my chances were slim.

Don't do it then, what can I tell you. Why everyone is always so vitriolic over the stupidest things is beyond me. I have more things to worry about then 411,lol.
