COUPON RE-DO! "Buy General Mills cereal get PC Ice Cream" CZ coupon has been changed!

Hi everyone, I still have the old coupon zone coupon that says "Buy any participating General Mills cereal and get 1 free PC ice cream" that expires end of this week. I know SCers have posted buying the cereal at $1.99 or so and getting the ice cream freebie.

Well, Saturday I was out at RCSS and didn't have that coupon with me...spotted it on the board and when I turned it over to read the back it had new wording that specified the sizes they'd accept the coupon on - basically the family sizes or larger than ones sold for $3 or less. I gave the coupon away to someone else who was buying the family size box so I don't have the exact wording with me.

Anways, just thought to give you the heads up as cashiers may start checking it and refuse use of the older coupon.

Note to self: use coupons asap!!! LOL! Another good deal missed again.

i used mine which was great as the grandkids are coming so l was able to get 5 boxes of kiddies cereals and 5 ice cream

I was planning on using the older coupon tomorrow when I got to RCSS... they better accept it or I'll be pissed! Expiry date is good until March 23/12 so they should (I say should but that may be wishful thinking!) accept it!

Yes they do, otherwise its false advertising and you can complain to the HO.

That is why I always stock up on the coupons I know I will use every week based on their expiry date in store. My RCSS had the same thing BUT excepted my old coupon of the any size get ice cream free.

I think maybe their coupon zone people need to talk to their marketing people. Between this and the resolve they are giving stuff away for pennies....but for us it's good!!!

Noticed that they changed the coupon also. My No Frills has not had the ice cream for over a week and doesn't look like they will restock. Coincidence?

Just got one box of cheerios for 2.98 which comes with free oasis juice and of course a box of $5.99 ice cream. Too bad the $1 coupon for cheerios just exired.

Oh at my RCSS they let us take a different kind cause the vanilla was out! I got a chocolate crackle one!
