Seems as though Derringer's Cash Grab players are either less greedy or smarter...or both this week vs. last week. Last week almost 50% went bust and went home with no cash. This week, so far, 100% of the players have walked away with cash...not always the most, but they're richer for having discretion. How 'bout that for "no whammies".

Am I dating myself by my reference to my tape deck?
I still have an Eaton Viking player where I'd play my cassettes,
Even long before the days of floppy diskettes,
I've been reviewing my tapes with fondness & memories so vivid,
Songs I'd play over & over till my father was livid!
I've got The Captain and Me & BTO,
& that hunky Cat Stevens (man he was a beau!)
Band on The Run, Dark Side of the Moon,
Goats Head Soup used to blast in my room,
In my burnt orange haven with shag carpeting,
Life was grand....till you lost an earring,
My musical momentos sit upon my book case,
If you remember Deep Purple can't you just feel the bass?
Is Loocie dated, this may be true,
But my tape is working almost as good as new!
So on a cold fall evening I shall get reacquainted,
& touch base with some times when life wasn't so tainted.

hehehe... I still have a Rubbermaid container FULL of all my old cassettes. Not too much in there that I haven't upgraded to CD, but the sentimentalist in me won't get rid of them.

So far, three of us Smart Canucks have played the Derringer's Cash Grab Game. mjones58, putt and me. All of us were on the 5:40 segment with Kim Mitchell. mjones58 played the game a day after me, about two weeks ago, and putt played last week.

I'm looking forward to hearing more of us SCers try to win the $10,000. Who knows, you might be next!
