Ahh, there's nothing quite like waking in a pool of your own sweat!
Seeing as how I'm awake, may as well do some trivia:
Sports: c) Eighty
History: c) Harry Truman
City Names: c) Cincinnati
Have a good day, folks. Mine should be a little better, now that the fever has broken.Last edited by FlyGuy123; Thu, Oct 8th, 2009 at 05:24 AM.

Good morning Q sters
thanks to all for the words and reps
I haven't had a chance to talk to my son and ask about the KISS show , he came in very late last night. I was a sleep.
I am sure it would of been a good show though , with only 6100 in attendance.

The trip was unbelievable! We were only there for a few days so I think that I had about 12 hours total sleep in about 5 days. lol
Not sure if you heard but Jack sent about 85 of us there. Half of us were not given boarding passes for our connecting flight at London's Heathrow. We were stranded in the airport so we all went to an Irish pub and started drinking. That was about 8am Toronto time. lol. Jeff Brown pulled out his credit card and paid for the drinks (and food for those that had to wait most of the day). I was lucky enough to get on the next flight and was late in getting to Ireland by only about 6 hours.
I am of Irish background, so Ireland is a place I just had to see. We spent all of Thursday and Friday touring Dublin. What an amazing city. We stayed at The Clarence (the hotel owned by U2) which is in the Temple Bar district. Each night we just stumbled out our back door after a bunch of drinks in the Octogon Bar of the hotel. Just out back was the Temple Bar district. Street is closed off to traffic and there is just one pub after another.
AC/DC was on Saturday night. What a phenomenal show. Those boys sure know how to rock. We had general admission floor tickets and could roam around anywhere we wished. Some of the winners had seating tickets above tho. The O2 stadium was a pretty good venue. I would estimate that it holds about 15,000 people. People walking around selling bottles of beer. Nothing but drunk Dubliners having a great time!
Unfortunately, we had to be outside the hotel at 6am Sunday to catch the bus back to the airport. But hell, it was worth it!!!
The person that I went with and I were kicking ourself for not staying longer. JackFM wouldn't let us change our flight details but we could have arranged a flight home at our own cost and just stayed there. Didn't think about it until it was too late.
I definitely have to go back to Ireland. I want to party in the Temple Bar district again. And I want to see Ireland outside of Dublin. Would love to get to the Cork area where my family are from.
So, it goes to show.... people DO win these trips. And I'll keep trying for another one.

So much for the "shorter commercials".
Today's 7:46 Derringer's Cash Grab contestant is Peter.
Got to $1700 and then busted. Too bad.
