A repeat post, but I need help.........



Little things do irritate, but this one's not so small,
It's a honking snoring husband who's over 6' tall,
Sometimes he sounds like a engine chuggin' along the track,
I SWEETLY tell him honey....you're sleeping on your back,
I ask him tenderly to turn over and please face the other way,
Cause your snoring is sort of deafening and it is to my dismay,
Things late at night in a darkened room may be further amplified,
I really should be used to this and take it all in stride,
So as the whole room echoes and I try to claim my "kip",
It's worse then listening to a tap go drip, drip, drip, drip, drip!
If anyone knows a LEGAL cure for snoring please place it here,
Cause Loocie's tired of NOT sleeping on the honking goose frontier!

Well I actually got to work on time today and thought I had 20 minutes to put in the codes from last night (thanks to all the people who posted those), read up on the posts from last night, rep everyone and make the mad dash for the 8:20 winning word. Badda boom, badda bing, Bob's your uncle and get on with the rest of my day.

Ugh, in 20 minutes I only managed to rep a few people and input only 3 words. I have a feeling my computer knows its Friday and will probably crash 4-5 times today. Oh well, I perform as well as the tools I am givin LOL. Should make for an interesting/frustrating day. Hope everyone has a excellent Friday.

Poor Loocie... I'm sure you have tried those nose strips that our beloved football players love to use...My Mom is a snorer..and when we camp together.. she kindly uses them.. they don't work 100% but better than a kick in the butt

A snoring companiion beside you can drive you crazy!!! If I hear anyone snoring even a little I cannot sleep for the life of me. I used to work for Ear, Nose and Throat doctors and I still remember this word uvulopalatopharyngoplasty. Thats a procedure they would do to open up the airway more to help with snoring or other things. Thats a little more drastic than trying other things like he probably has like sleeping in a different position or losing weight if need be. Also even your dentist can help by giving you some sort of mouth guard that could help. There are also nasal procedures to open the nasl airways for various reasons. Just thought I'd through those things out there.

Oh poor Loocie! You should try getting a "snore" pillow for him. If you do some research on the internet you should be able to find them. I know sleep Country has some good pillows. They are really expensive but worth it. Ing
