The contest I am referring to is a contest to try and audition to become a co-host for a 90 minute slot on what they are calling, "The Joe Blow Radio Show" with Alex Hindmarch.

The way it works is, people call Q-107 at 416-870-0107 and press 1 to enter the contest by doing an audition over the phone. They ask for your name and phone number in case you might tweak their interest enough to want to a) Use your audition call on the air and/or b) actually declare you the winner to become a co-host.

This contest is open to anyone from anywhere. No restrictions, except I imagine people must be able to travel to Toronto and co-host the show when required if you are the winner.

The link I provided is an edited recording of the audition I did "live" on my own radio show on March 15/08.

In essence, the link provides you the opportunity to listen and/or download the segment to listen to. When you click on the "download now securely" orange bar, you will be allowed to listen/download the segment I did as my audition for this contest.

In reality, my audition is really lame, and people that have listened to it have declared it to be fairly humorous...

If you do listen to my audition, you will hear the recorded message from the Mighty Q and what they expect....

Basically, I have fallen short of their expectations I have not, to date, received any response to my, uh hem, professional audition
