I've seen GNR a few times. Once opening for Iron Maiden as Appetite for Destruction was just hitting it big. Once co-headlining with Metallica (way too many egoes for one stage). Once in 2002, where Axl and Dizzy Reed were the only members from either of the previous incarnations, on what I called the "Help Finance Axl's Studio Time So He Can Finish Chinese Democracy" tour. Danko Jones and Sebastian Bach are opening on this tour.
