Good morning. Thanks for all the words/codes.

I've been playing catch-up and was reading last evening's posts. Gotta say, I was just getting over the whole burger/rib thing when Heartgirl offer up pancakes. Now, I'm not normally a breakfast type - typically, I am not hungry in the morning. However, today, I think my stomach has woken up a little earlier than normal. - Either that or I'm really vulnerable to the power of suggestion!

So I'm off to find a burger/rib/pancake joint that has lots of clean lettuce!!

I don't want to pour cold water on this, but what was the source of the photo and story? Was she in fact Canadian, and a cheerleader? Why would Air Force personnel be involved in sniping? Sorry, it looks like an internet embellishment to me.

Couldn't have been a CF picture regardless of service (Navy, Grunt or Air) - the only earrings allowed while in uniform are small gold studs. Appears she is wearing pearls.

And yes, this is one area that the CF actually discriminates AGAINST men - only female types are allowed to wear earrings while in uniform!!

psells: re my post from early this am, I did a quick check on the info and not my normal thorough one...it may not be legit... and it may be so... I found it rare to see a Canadian soldier being fussed about in a positive way, and I wanted to share it! ... don't hate me....It wasn't done on a post-it note or anything...(S.I.T.C. - Carrie & Berger)
