Go to Start>Control Panel Click on the Regional and Languages Options icon (Classic view) To change to classic view click on that link upper left of control panel screen. On the current format screen make sure you have
English (United States) listed as current format. Then click on the keyboard and language tab and make sure you have Choose display language as English. Now near the top of the box click the Change keyboard tab and Make sure the language is English (United States)-US.
Click apply and OK.

It should now be in U.S. English

Now yesterday I booked a cruise vacation. So winning the 10 grand from Tim Hortons would be a big help towards that cause. Of course I wouldn't be opposed to winning the Toyota RAV4 either.

I'm at work..but on my laptop at home.. I did the same thing.. fortunatly I was walked through fixing it right away.. mine had what looked like a keyboard on the left of the bottom toolbar.. I was accidentally switched to the french key board.. pehaps that might help.. sorry if it doesnt'.. it is enought to drive you over the deep end.. I know..somehow last Saturday night, my sister and I went to watch August Rush on Project Free tv.. somthing happened, not sure what.. then I couldnt get rid of a pop up about virus's and finally had to restore my computer back a week to get rid of it..bloody computers..

This happens to me all the time!

I figured out that I have "Hippo Hands" and how it happened is that I accidentally press the control and shift button at the same time.

If you press control and shift once again, it should fix the problem.

Wow, I actually answered a computer question! I am usually the one who asks them!
