Anyway, I couldn't really see what bearing these questions had on whether you were qualified to do the job? I also wasn't sure how to answer the visible minority question for a job in Toronto now a days. I know when I went to Cedarbrae 30 years ago there were something like 32 non white students out of 2,200. I hear the school is now 85% non white so who's the visible minority. I think a lot would depend on where you live? I don't mind them asking what languages you speak or read but I really think these recruiting companies need to reveiw their questions.
Their questions are totally appropriate and in line with human rights legislation in Ontario. I remember years ago meeting someone at a party who said his brother was interested in becoming a Toronto firefighter, but since he was a white male he didn't stand a chance, ha ha! I told him that in the past year I had trained 81 new recruits, and 78 of them were white males, so what did that say about his brother's chances, ha ha! Of course the ratios are now much more reflective of our multicultural, multi-ethnic society, but there are still very good reasons why companies/organizations ask those questions. The alternative is the disastrous quota systems they have in the USA.

May the reppin' rays of sunshine inspire you today,
There's just something about the warmth the makes me feel this way,
Rep is you're tempted to wear your shorts & take a stroll outside,
Also rep if you're the kind of person, who takes things all in stride,
Rep if you look for the good in the people that you meet,
& rep if you've been on the bus & given up your seat,
Rep for realizing an act of kindness will spread around some cheer,
& automatic rep for those of you who cherish someone dear,
Reputation is earned by the things you do & cause it is a 2 way street,
Sometimes even the tiniest rep, will make someone’s day complete,
Thanks to all of you out there, for your friendship & support,
& for today, I shall now conclude my Sunday reppin’ report.

Excellent choice. Dale Jarrett was a class act, much like Mark Martin and Jeff Burton are today.

I don't know why, but I've been cheering for Tony Stewart for a couple of years now. He's certainly had some bad moments but he's also matured a lot and does a much better job of controlling his emotions. Plus he's a damn good driver.

    Hope this picture is okay.

Brilliant Sunday report Loocie.. The sun is still trying to peek out.. but I really need to get chores done.. I think I'll start by hanging the laundry on the line..there is nothing like the smell of freshly washed bedding hanging in the spring breeze.. it fills the room..and the heart (makes for a great night sleep too)

    Hey popasmurf

Yeah some of the sponsors are questionable, but you have to get pass that, it's like Richard Petty, you have to love that 43 car, , what sponsor was better, STP or Mac tools. It will always be STP for me, 43 with the blue and red.
