Do we get Red Plum in BC?

I am new and a little overwhelmed by this site, hard to find some threads and understand things. I can spend hours trying to read threads, etc.

One question is...do we get Red Plum coupon insert in BC?

Yes, we do get the Redplum in BC. The next Replum is not due to come out until Saturday Jan.15th. The coupon inserts that are out this weekend are the P&G Brandsaver and the Smartsource. They can all be difficult to find but I think the Redplum is probably the most problematic. It drives us crazy!

This morning I did my usual and went to the McDonald's across the street for brekkie and they had the complimentary newspapers (Vancouver Sun) and they had both the Brandsaver and Smartsource in them. So, I lurk and scrounge the discards, and usually do pretty well.

I checked in at the 7-11 nearby and their Vancouver Suns also had both coupon inserts. I also checked at the IGA across the street and they had Vancouver Suns with both inserts. None of the Globe and Mails or National Posts had the inserts, which is usual.

So, in my neighbourhood (downtown Vancouver) the coupon inserts are in the Vancouver Suns sold at 7-11 and IGA and they were also in the papers delivered to McDonald's.

Thanks! I discovered that the smart source in your photo is actually different than the one I received at home (the one I received at home was better) I scored two, but I couldn't go grabbing inserts out of the rack LOL. The McDonald's here removes the inserts

Ack! Your McDonald's removes the inserts? I'm glad the McDonald's I visit lets them get scattered around the restaurant before they get gathered up and tossed. I help them so they don't have as much to clean up! Why, sometimes I even lighten their garbage load by reaching right down into the garbage and fishing them out! lol

When it comes to finding the Redplum coupon insert, it seems to me that there's no normal and the only thing consistent about it is it's inconsistency. All I know is that in downtown Vancouver I've found it in the Sunday Province newspaper and possibly the Saturday Vancouver Sun. Some people in the suburbs may get it with their flyers or with their free community newspapers. Sometimes it's just in the home delivered subscription papers and not in the papers sold in stores, sometime not. And just because you found it in one place one time doesn't mean it will be there the next time it comes out.

The best thing you can do is stay tuned to this forum and read reports of where it's being found. Specifically, look in the local forum for Vancouver discussion. Good luck!

does anyone have a picture of what the redplum one looks like? is it the same as brandsaver and/or smartsource?

there is no 'pic' because the coupons are different every time. It looks like the SmartSource, but says "RedPlum" on the top.

(don't know your city, but it comes out this Friday in my neck of the woods.)
