Back in January when I went out for my nightly stroll at Metro to get the baby in the tummy moving
I spotted a friend who work at Metro, and he knows I collect coupons, so he gave me different type of coupons that he had been collected for me...anyhow, in the envie that he had collected there are a few strips of $1 off for any SC Johnson products...I gave and traded a few, not knowing that they were for Ziploc...silly me. Last week when I read the deal from lotsavings, I rushed myself and my 3 kids (7.5, 2.5 and 2.5 months old baby) to WM to do a PM on the Ziploc....

1st trip:
(All had the $4 coupons booklets)

12xZiploc Large Freezer bags (12x$0.99)
8x Ziploc produce bags (8x$0.99)

2nd trip:
(All marked boxes with coupons booklets have taken out by "someone" and sealed the end of the boxes with tapes) - not happy , contacted Ziploc cs and they are going to send me some replacement coupons

5xProduce bags (5x$0.99)
7xdouble zipper (7x$0.99)
10x assorted freezer bags (10x$0.99)


All for $41.58 + taxes

Aurora and Newmarket WM were cleared out QUICK very very early.

Even when they did have them they only had them in the boxes with the very large freezer bags. There were only so many freezer bags I could use so I couldn't fathom buying many. I'd have a 5 year supply, as it is I might already with my 6 boxes of gigantic freezer bags. I only really use them to freeze kitty food.

I got the first batch on Monday and the second batch on Thursday...different stores. I have to go to 4 different stores to get them, as most shelf are clear.

I was able to get 7 boxes and also couldn't justify getting any more. Our WM had more of the produce bags but I don't use them. I would love to get my hands on more of these coupons. Best coupons I HAVE EVER SEEN for meat and produce!!!

Great deal. I have never seen any of the ziplock with the coupons on them. Must have come out recently and since I can't go out I missed it. WTG on the savings, it doesn't get any better than free, lol.

WOW, great score!!

After xmas, Loblaws discounted the holiday Ziplocs for 97 cents and there were $2 WUB2 coupons at the coupon zone. Bought a ton of those and coupon zone coupons are tax free. So got overage of 3 cents per box, lol. Cashier was impressed so I gave her some coupons and went back and got some boxes for her.

I've used the produce coupons for both vegetables and fruits. With the Oct. 31 expiry date, I'm looking forward to 6 months of savings on fresh produce!

Yes the fresh produce coupons can be used on both fresh vegetables and fruit. I was able to get the following for approx. 2 cents each last week: 1 head iceburg lettuce, 1 bunch romaine lettuce, broccoli, 1 english cucumber and 3 tomotoes. I price matched two of the items with FB.Two weeks ago I used the coupon for a bag of mini carrots. The cashier said, "I'm not sure this coupon should be used for this product but I will give it to you anyway. I wasn't really thinking!

I only bought 2 Ziploc boxes price-matching Food Basics flyer and used $1 off Ziploc coupons from websaver, but one of the Ziploc box had 7 coupon booklets in them,lucky me
