I bought Fez on XBLA today, after quiting and loading up again the game is broken?

I played for like 4 or more hours today on and off, so I loaded it up again for like the forth time, selected continue and the screen loads up in a little room I had been to recently then the game ends and I'm brought back to dashboard, I have tried again multiple times, I've reset the console and cleared my cache. Needless to say i'm p***ed off after playing for 4 hours. i know the game tricks you into thinking your console is broke but this doesn't seem like the same thing. has anyone else had this problem?
