that's a good question!
I think I put mine so that it doesn't show when I'm online... but there are alot of users who either signed up for the contest or signed up and who don't come back regularly.

yup just as julieonmymind said, many of these members signed up during the contest.

There is a large number of visitors but most of them are guests who prefer to just read and not post. You'll notice this clearly in the freebies section where the number of views is huge compared to the number of replies. That's the nature of most forums I think.

I noticed that too, sometimes it will go hours without anyone on. I try to check in a couple of times a day, but do not always get a chance to reply.

I try and post... but sometimes I'll read a post and say to myself, "I'll reply later..."
And forget which posts I'm going to reply to later.
