Ok, so I want to know what I am missing. I don't seem to find the coupon magazines you all talk about. Like smart source or redplum or the others. Am I missing them???? What can I do to make sure I get my hands on them?

They come in your local news paper, someone has the dates listed for which they come in one of these forums,,,hope that helps!!

Should I start buying the sunday paper? I get the thursday and monday ones free but they never have anything good except all the flyers. Should I invest in the sunday paper? Or should I go trolling around the neighbourhood for recycling boxes? LOL!

They are only put in the newspapers on certain dates - there is a thread with the dates listed in the coupons section.

My local newspapers don't carry them. I've e-mailed to inquire but no one got back to me. I've dug through the recycling bin at work to get the Calgary newspaper and either I'm competing against another avid coupon-collector, or they just don't insert them there either. I'm at a loss for coupon gathering, too! (In my case, Calgary-area)

If it helps I live in Timmins and usually find the redplum and smart source inserts at work in the national post. Also an old apartment building that I used to live had them delivered there in a flyer bundle. I would go into work on sunday night and there would be like 5 national posts left so I would take the inserts and throw the rest of the papers in the recycling bin.

I never find them either, and I make an effort to look in all the papers at the newstand a few days prior and even after the posted dates and havent found any in about 1 yr.

They typically are not in the newstands or stores, only delivery papers but lately I have got them on days they are not supposed to come (a few days either side) or not at all. I get 5 papers at work and 2 at home - not one of them had a brandsaver

I had luck in the recyling bin for the brandsaver but I have yet to see a redplum? Not even sure if it comes to BC? I'm very new to all this but I think you can trade people for the brandsaver. Someone more knowledgeable might be able to direct you on that.

Red Plum was in our local Times Magazine here in Maple Ridge, however I learned that at least for our area Red Plum and PandG Brandsaver were not in the apartment bundles as it wasn't paid for Which really sucks cause hey, who can't use those hundreds of "naw I don't need one" in the recycle pile
