I need to purchase a queen duvet and cover for a bridal shower next weekend. I don't know much about them so any advise or suggestions on what and where to buy one is very much appreciated. Thank you

How much do you want to spend? Do you want to buy down-filled or synthetic? I would be more inclined to buy the comforter only, and give a gift certificate to buy the cover. Imo, the cover is really a matter of personal choice, people design their bedrooms around the style and colour of their bed coverings. You can also look at bed-in-a-bag deals if you know the bride isn't picky.
Costco has queen down duvets for around $110 and they are a good quality. I've also bought bedding at Winners, and you can get some good deals in their clearance section. I just bought a Ralph Lauren heavy-weight down duvet there for $100.

The groom is my son, and they would like a down duvet. They aren't picky and would appreciate whatever mom gets them, but I would like too go for quality.
Thanks for the suggestions. I would love to visit Ikea, but I left this too late for the trip there. I will check out Costco first, then winners and maybe Home Sense.
Thanks for the suggestions..next quest to find a mother of the groom dress for a mid summer beach wedding.
