Freshco overage on Olay bars

Was at my local Freshco today and cashier handed me next weeks flyer. Olay bars (x1) are on for a $1 for their big dollar sale. PG insert I believe has buy 2 save $3. $1.00 overage after coupon! Other great deals as well!

When i saw that coupon it said $3 off when you buy 2 moisturizer, cleanser or lotion and excluded's trial size and sample packs. When they say cleanser they are talking about the facial cleanser. No where on the coupon does it say for use on soap or body wash products like the old coupons used to.

Personally i would love to score a deal like that... have i misunderstood the coupon?

I don't have it coupons with me at the moment but I think there is also bar soap picture on the coupon too. I might be mistaken but thats what I remember

Hard to say if a One pack of soap is a sample or trial size?? Depends on how the cashier interprets it. To me a "trial or sample" size would be like the size of those hotel soaps, but who knows!!

I agree. There is a picture of the bar soap on the coupon and it doesn't state that it excludes singles, like some other coupons I've seen. I believe it was the Magic Eraser coupon that states it isn't good for single count.
So i believe this is a good coupon match up!!
but, i hate bar soap. So i'm saving mine!

Although it doesn't say single it does say trial and sample. One of something is often a trial or sample.

But I'm curious since when does freshco allow overages? This would be good to know for the future. Thanks.

FreshCo has always marked my coupons down in the past, like No Frills.
