Free Comic Book Day - Saturday May 5

dh took ds out. they got 10 comics. dh said it was really busy and they were running out of the free comics so they were giving away their older stock of 1$ comics. dh brought me home a true blood comic, a spike comic, and an angel comic. the other 7 were spider man and x-men comics for ds.

DS heard that the store he went to were giving out hardcover comic books in the morning. Oh well, way too late.

On a related note, did anyone attend the Toronto Comic Arts event this weekend at the Reference Library? Many guest artists were scheduled. Guy Delisle has a new book coming out soon-check out his previous books.

our shop gave out those hardcover books, if it is indeed the same one it was a green hardcover anthology from a comics publisher, it had stories from Mouse Guard, Labyrinth and a few others. Almost everyone at our store was picking them up simply because it was hardcover ^^;
