I laughed when I saw this thread. When I was a teenager (not too long ago, I guess), I went to a high school that was considered to be "on the wrong side of the tracks." It was well known for students partying and being generally a bit out of line. There, the "May 2-4 Challenge" for those in their senior year was to get together with 3 buddies, buy a twofour of beer, and together get the entire thing drunk between the time the beer store opened at 10am and whenever you wanted to skip school for the afternoon. The guys who were most into partying would have the challenge completed by lunchtime and would be off to one of the usual suspects' homes to start partying. Now that I'm older and more responsible, I don't plan anything near so damaging to my liver
This year, DH is going motorcycling Saturday so I will do gardening and get the yard tidied up. We're planning to go to the movies on Sunday afternoon as we have a bunch of the free movie snacks coupons that'll expire soon and can't be used on Friday or Saturday; I've also been too tired to use them on a weeknight, so this is the best plan we could think up! Monday will be work as usual as I'm planning on going to visit my grandma next weekend and don't want to have to take work along! We are just praying that our neighbours don't throw another noisy party as I'd like to not have to spend my days sleeping to catch up rest like I did last weekend when they kept me up until 3 am, despite my calls to bylaw services!
Here's hoping everyone has a fun and safe long weekend!

We are expecting family to desend on our two cabins at the lake. We are living in ours for the summer and our sons families will be here. My sister's family of four families and their children will be in the other cabin, so a group of 15 to 20 will rock this nice peaceful place starting on Friday. Give me strength! (lol). I love it!!!

No cottage here, but did get the 2-4 Lots of company expected to come and go, and I will be spending the gorgeous weekend cleaning the engine bay and detailing the interior of a '77 Firebird. It's almost showtime!
Raisin cookies that look like chocolate chip cookies are one of the main reasons I have trust issues.
