Hi everyone, I am constantly sending most of my trades in 2 envies cause I am so scared that it will get returned and I don't want anyone else upset with me because of the delay if it has to come back.
I have a digital scale (use it for weighing puppies when they are born) so I can weigh all my envies before they go but what are the weights and how many stamps?
I think 60g or less is 1 stamp then what are the rates/weight after that??
Thank you in advance! This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Within Canada the 2011 prices are:
$0.59 for up to 30g STANDARD letter
$1.03 for 30g to 50g STANDARD letter
$1.25 for up to 100g OVERSIZED letter
$2.06 for 100g to 200g OVERSIZED letter
$2.85 for 200g to 300g OVERSIZED letter
$3.25 fror 300g to 400g OVERSIZED letter
But dont forget that oversized envies must fit through the standard slot - I'll see if I can't find the exact size of the slot.
EDIT: I can't find the SC thread but on the CP website it says the max width for an oversized letter is 20mm (I'd make sure it's a bit smaller just to be safe).

up to 50g standard letter is $1.03.
2 permanent (or "P") stamps equal $1.18 ($0.59 x 2) so you would be overpaying CP by $0.15.
You can buy $1.03 and $1.25 stamps at Canada Post locations. Most envelopes I send cost $1.25 because they are OVERSIZED (a little bigger/thicker/heavier than a regular envie).

50g is 2 stamps (or the special one for that size) unless it is too thick to fit through the slot (20mm is oversized max for lettermail, reg letters are smaller) reg mail is 5mm thickness

.
I should know this, but I don't. You other members deserve reps, each and every one of you for responding with the info so fast. Hope your letters arrive just as quick. Enjoy the snowstorm tonight.

You can buy one of their plastic slots for $3.50 if they dont have one theyll order them for you. OR bring in a sheet of paper and trace the slot then cut it out in cardboard and its free lol. Its really handy if your an ebay seller.
