    It's crazy the jackpot is over 58,000 now, at this rate it could be in the millions in the morning! Someone is going to have to do alot of work to clean up this mess, I feel like there will be lots of reversals tomorrow. The shoutbox will be going crazy tomorrow.

    These posts answer the questions some of us might have:
    its a long story we dont want to repeat just dont do anything til j fixes it
    and if they get cashed they wont get $$ too in case anyone asks
    they can still do other stuff like videos and other walls; just not crowdflower or sponsor pay cause those were messed
    keep in mind ur messing it more if u do anything b4 j fixes it all
    see that swhat I think just leave it alone, its only more confusing to go thru everyones ttotal b4 the mess up. I sent J my total b4 the tsk tsk tsk up and he can hopefully just shoot it down about 6K
    shiftcode went nuts the other night a few different sites were effected but were able to stop it b4 it did damage but j wasnt available so cbf got screewed big time lol
    i wasnt here when it messed up so not sure what happened. but in the past J has went back and fixed the mistake and reversed points from the malfunction.

    Just in case, I have taken a screenshot of my Points History where I see the problem starting. I did a few Tasks and Videos afterwards, before I noticed that there was a problem ... so I guess those points will be removed together with the ones from the glitch

    I haven't in ages, no way to earn points really. There's a promo code out right now in his latest video worth 4 if anyone is interested. A secret code too but I have no idea what song he's trying to play.

    I still use this site, login everyday (not really sure why ), like you said, not much we can do there anymore.

    J uploaded a news video, got the 4-point code, and tried to figure out the song he is playing, but it doesn't ring a bell to me.

    I just found J closed my account after sending them email like this:
    I had more than 933 points on 17 January, 2013. After 18 January , I have 13,299 points (because of the crowdflower mess problem), and I stopped working on this site since that day. On January 27, I redeemed $10 amazon gift card which cost me 850 points because I earned them by myself before January 18 mess. On February 3, I found my account only had 1.98 points and they reversed my redemption and deleted 13,298 points from my account. I contacted them immediately, but no response until today I found my account is closed. Actually, I did a lot of screenshot on the day I sent them email because I knew J might close my account because he does not want to honor my rewards.
    Should I report this to some regulatory website? Anyone has any idea which website I should go to report if it is not too troublesome (I don't expect to get my rewards back, so don't want to spend too much time and efforts on this issue)? thanks in advance.

    I can tell you he "J" always want to come up some reason to cancel members account, so he can capture free profit
    (1) Repeating video from MM. As far as I know, MM never complained about how we view the repeating video, but J comes up a reason to take our points back, so he can get the money from MM
    (2) Cancel lots of members because he saw people are using tool as assistance to do the casino task because member can do the casino task faster. Whenever J see a member has credit the few casino tasks at the same time, he assumes that member is using tool and he thinks it is cheating. However, CF nevers complains it, everything is making up from his mind.
    (3) The recent CF mess cancel any member who uses the "mess points" to redeem the awards. Really ??? because it is his fault, he cancels member's account. What a logical mind !!!!. He assume that member must know the point is coming from, so using this point to redeem the rewards considers cheating. Really, Assume ??? Member always assume to get credit whenever they do offer. However, I don't believe J's site fullfill our assumption too. There are few other sites recently has the same problem which keeps credit point to members account and some member did use the points to redeem the rewards. However, those sites just bascially cancel the redemption
    and reverse the points back. Never cancel members account. Those sites I will consider a honest site and also care for members. J's site, NO WAY.

    I am sorry to hear that happened to you Jessie

    On the Shoutbox Jeanie (the Mod) kept saying to place orders only with the amount people got themselves (not with the CF mess problem), and simultaneously email J, giving him the numbers, so he will check and remove the "non-valid points".


    Seems to me you did the right thing, you ordered with the points you had prior to the problem, except that you didn't email him at the time when you placed the order, so I am thinking it is possible that J got confused. I would just give him the benefit of the doubt, don't think he would just close your account .


    Send him a new email, with screenshots:

    1) showing you had a balance of 933 points on January 17th
    2) showing the balance on January 18th, right where the problem started
    3) showing balance on January 27th, right after placing your $10 order (-850 points)
    4) showing the 13,298 points he removed from your account on Feb. 3, as "Reverse crowdflower Overcredit issue"

    Was the amount of points he removed correct? Should you now have a balance of 1.98 points?

    I truly hope J gives your account back, and your $10 AGC!! Please keep us posted.

    Thanks for your response. My case is different, I did NOT redeem for the points got from the mess, I earned 933 points before the mess day of January 18. I did screenshot that showed on January 17, I already had 933 points and I only redeemed 850 points for $10 Amazon gift card. But after sending him email about this issue, he simply closed my account without any explanation. This is not the way to do business. He should shut down all of his websites like this.

    In this last CF mess, I decided to do nothing, just wait until J got to my account and remove the "excess" points. I didn't want to risk him thinking (like you say lcmt, "assuming") that I was trying to take advantage of the glitch, in any way shape or form.

    On Feb. 3rd, he removed the points, actually he took a bit more than he should have, but oh well
