The good news, Metro Transit starts service to the airport and Fall River tomorrow, yay! Great news for those of us who don't want to spend $50 on a taxi, or make our way downtown and pay about $20 for the AirPorter. It's a MetroX route, so you pay an extra dollar if you just have a regular bus pass.

The bad news? You can only take carry-on luggage. I guess you'll have to send the rest of your stuff in a taxi!

Metro Transit has changed its policy, luggage is now allowed. There is an update this aft. in the Chronicle Herald.

I heard they bowed to public pressure on this, and it's good they changed their position. But isn't it just a bit silly that they didn't think of this before?

They make lots of silly decisions, IMO. I think social media response plus an article by Tim Bousquet in the Coast made them back down.

It's also at the drivers discretion so you know what that means, power trips! Further off bumming a ride than being turned away, thus causing more stress trying to get to the airport.
