thought i would let you all know... LD is only accepting one, yes one, printed version of a coupon. Someone photocopied coupons and now the one store in saskatoon, on 8 th street, has a policy. Some of you, that envied us having a LD don't have to any more. Was not impressed that I had to leave most of the stuff behind, because I like most of you, only want the best deal and what we can get for next to nothing. Ziploc bags are 1.99, if you have the B2save 4, it makes them free, could only take out 2.(even though there were 8 I should have had) Also old spice is 2 for 5 if you use the right coupons they are also free. they also phoned SDM when I want to do a PM and would not give it to me when they found out that SDM was out of stock. So before you fill your carts you may want to check to see if the store will accept all your printable coupons or have a limit.

My store accepted all of mine on Saturday, I heard the senior CS rep teaching the newer one how to tell that each was an original print.
But that really sucks that people are abusing things, it just ruins things for everyone.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed with London Drugs. You may want to e-mail London Drugs for a copy of their couponing and price matching policy. LD and pretty much all other stores who price match state that they will only price match IF the competitor has the item in stock. Their policy states that they will price match one item....it is up to the individual store manager whether or not to price match beyond the one item. They also state they will accept printables with up to a $3 value only.
I assume your Ziploc coupons is a printable? You may want to go back to London Drugs again this week and pick up another set of Ziplocs and using one more of your printables. (My London Drugs won't take over $3 prints at alll.) There are more and more stores who are not accepting printables at all...unfortunately a few bad apples have spoiled it for the rest of us.Last edited by DianneS; Mon, Feb 7th, 2011 at 08:54 PM.

I hear you on that one harbie. I went for a good angry stomp in the snow when I found out that other stackers were the reason my LD had to change some policies.
I'm moving out on my own soon, and I don't know how I'll make it without stacking, so I really hope nobody ruins it completely by then.

i think this is one of the downfalls to couponing becoming popular, people are now scamming the system and taking advantage of printables stacking and not being considerate of other customers/couponers
When life hands you Edward Cullen...throw him back and demand Eric Northman....

LD taking only 1 printable is sooooooooooo NOT a big deal.........Same with LD adhering to their 'official head office' coupon policy.............we don't need to be getting multiples of all our deals every time we shop.............your 2 bags of Ziploc bags should last you at least a week or two...........there will always be opportunities to get more....
how long does a bottle of shampoo, dish or laundry detergent, deodorant, box of diapers or femine hygeine last for anyways?......................certainly long enough that we can have replaced it with at least one more box sitting in our closet.
(getting wee bit tired of all the LD 'negativity' - we are getting a great deal - all of us collectively are getting a fabulous opportunity to shop at LD - they don't have to offer 'coupon stacking' and may decide it's more hassle than it's worth if the 'good'
customers start to get outnumbered by the 'not so great' customers.)
just my two cents worth................offered up free of charge, tax included, for all my SC 'stacking' friends.........

I agree with Barbs.... I am really tired of Windex going on sale Friday and then when I get to the store Sunday at 10am there is nothing left!
The shelf clearing needs to stop!

many times my LD is out of product.........and then remains out for 2-3 weeks..............because the warehouse that supplies LD is also out............because some people thought they needed to obtain 20 shampoo, 30 deodorant, etc. in one shopping trip.........if everyone does this...............(and many newbies are reading the '5 shopping carts full' type of brag & are thinking that's the way to be a good LD shopper).................LD will just quietly discontinue certain items/product lines......because if they can't keep an item supplied for their regular customers; it just generates negative feedback, so better to be able to say, 'sorry, we don't carry that' than to be always out of product..........then LD 'stackers' will find less & less
'stacking deals' available........
just my 2 cents worth (free, with tax included)

Also if everyone tries to spread their coupons around that will help too I think. I try to shop at RCSS, Walmart and SDM. We don't always need to "stack" to get a super great deal. I also make multiple trips to LD and try to go to different locations....sometime smaller shops are better....less obvious

Those extreme couponing brags were what lured me into the couponing world. Seriously who needs 1000 dollars worth of deoderant and antiperesprint? Yes, it's nice to give that to charity, but I think that's going overboard. What if some smaller mart owners see that and say "HEY! we could use coupons get things for free and sell at our own mart?"
I'd b very sad if LD starts does not allow stacking anymore. I guess the whole limit thing is just to prevent these things to happen. However limiting to 1 is a little too strict. Sometimes people use those $xwub2/3 coupons then it would be tough to do.
I've only did stacking twice at LD since I started couponing in Dec and now everytime when I do it I still feel nervous about it.
